It is the tx-enable switch on the tx drive module that gives the strange behaviour seen on 11 Oct 2008. The switch must be off.

The noise on the west antenna is only in a certain freq range.
Removed power plug to HPTx to avoid fans being on unnecessarily. VSWR recording. MTR leaves for Tromso. 20091207
First few weeks of operation OK, then erratic but mostly no echoes. ML and EH investigated a bit. I found no signal from E antenna. Current 0 to E. A spare preamp at E antenna also draws no current. Modified config to work with 3 ants.
The PC clock is 3min 27s slow. 20091208
